How does it actually stop a theft?+
The lock loops through the steering wheel and anchors into the seat belt buckle, so the wheel can't be turned through a full rotation. It's a visible deterrent from outside the car, which is what makes most opportunists move on.
How long does it take to fit?+
Around five seconds once you've done it once. Thread the cable through the wheel, clip the end into the seat belt buckle, turn the key. Removing it is the same in reverse.
Is it any good against keyless relay theft?+
